does “kazoku ni aitai desu” translate to “i want to be with family!”?
…is she a girl who turns into a bird, or a bird who turns into a girl? The “snag the new shiny” behavior is very magpie-like.
I was going for “I miss my family”, and a few translations online said this was close. But “I want to be with my family” would work as well.
She’s a girl who turns into a bird, but it could almost be seen as a girl who is both human and bird. She’s not a fluid shape-shifter, in that she can only turn into a bird and not anything else.
